Although the absolute numbers of patients with subclinical cardiotoxicity are greater at 3-week intervals for both LV GLS variation cutoff values, the differences are not statistically significant (> 12% vs. > 15%, P = 0.16 vs. P = 0.28). Within both intervals, the numbers were not significantly different at both cutoff values (P = 0.19 vs. P = 0.41). Thus, quarterly monitoring of LV GLS may be the most appropriate echocardiographic strategy
